Applying for Aid
For UNC Charlotte, only one application is required to apply for federal and state financial aid; it is commonly referred to as the “FAFSA”.
To apply for financial aid:
- Submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
- Be sure to enter our school code (002975) so that we receive your FAFSA information
- All students must reapply for aid every year
- You can apply for financial aid at any time, but will need to be fully admitted before you are given a financial aid package
Deadlines for submitting your FAFSA:
You will receive your financial aid offer based on when you submit your FAFSA*. The earlier you submit your FAFSA, the earlier you will receive your financial aid offer.
Incoming students: You don’t need to wait for your admission decision to submit the FAFSA.
